Scope of Works

Project Overview: 

WSW Refurbishments were instructed to complete both internal and external works to Mare Street. This included installing a new kitchen and bathroom, as well as replacing the roofing. 

Client Requirements: 

The client required comprehensive works to be completed on the residential floors and commercial unit of the property. All work had to be completed with minimal disruption to the residents.

Scope of Works: 

  • Full rewire to 3 residential floors and commercial unit including installation of DB boards.
  • Sash window repairs and renewal.
  • Ceiling renewals and repairs throughout.
  • Boiler upgrade works.
  • Installation of new kitchen.
  • Installation of new bathroom.
  • Installation of new WC to the commercial unit and domestic floors.
  • Pressure testing live services.
  • Replastering of internal walls.
  • Renewal of doors and associated ironmongery.
  • Joinery repairs and renewal throughout.
  • Full decoration throughout.
  • Structural repairs and renewal of parapet walls and chimney stacks.
  • Timber joist and deck replacement to flat roof areas
  • Replacement of lead roof.
  • Replacement of felt roofs.
  • Replacement of roof slates that became damaged.
  • Repointing of brickwork and refacing of perished bricks.
  • New cill’s installed to sash windows.
  • Relining of box gutters and bays resolving water ingress issues within the property.
  • Decoration of all masonry.
  • Glazing replacements throughout the residential floors and commercial units.
  • External timber repairs to shop frontage.
  • Graffiti removal.

Results and Outcome:

WSW Refurbishments completed the work on time and within budget. The team completed all aspects of the project to a very high standard.
